We are proud to announce that CETRA BASE has been selected for the ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) Madrid Region, a programme supported by the European Space Agency (ESA), Agencia Espacial Española (AEE), Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d and the Community of Madrid. This milestone marks an important step in the company’s mission to contribute to the development of innovative technologies within the European space ecosystem.

Through the ESA BIC Madrid programme, CETRA BASE will receive technical, business, and financial support to advance its work on an optimised Galileo PRS receiver. As part of this initiative, the company aims to establish a new business unit focused on GNSS receiver technologies, strengthening its strategic position in the growing satellite navigation market. The new unit will work to make PRS (Public Regulated Service) receivers simpler, more accessible, and more affordable, with the goal of democratizing access to secure satellite navigation technologies. 

Participation in ESA BIC Madrid will provide CETRA BASE with access to ESA’s network of experts, specialised mentoring and collaboration opportunities within Europe’s space community.
